One of my favourite pubs in York, a true gem. Solid and wide selection of beer with a variety of guest beers on regular rotation. Whether you're looking for no-nonsense pints, a strong stout, or a fruity sour, there's something for everyone. But the thing that keeps bringing me back is the staff. They are all lovely people, and always a pleasure to chat to.

While touring around York, we came across this lovely Brewdog, so we stopped in for a pint, but as we'd had a late lunch, we did not have any food. The inside is split into comfortable, separate rooms, providing slightly different ambiances. We talked for a bit with Fraser, who introduced us to Brewdog's new "passport" reward.system. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, a very big thank you to Fraser!

Came in to see a few friends, and was served by Fraser - he ensured that told us about the range of drinks and food that brewdog sells. All while being friendly, kind and genuinely funny and adding to our conversations. He did some great pours and left no more room for food or drinks Great work! We will definitely be coming back
